4. Procedures and Methods for Destroying Personal Information

In principle, the company destroys personal information without delay once the purpose of its collection and use has been achieved. The procedures and methods for destruction are as follows.

  • - Destruction Procedure : Information entered by members for purposes such as membership registration is transferred to a separate database (or stored in a separate document storage cabinet in the case of paper documents) once the purpose has been achieved. It is then retained for a certain period according to internal policies and other relevant laws for information protection (refer to the retention and use period), after which it is destroyed. Personal information transferred to a separate database will not be used for any purpose other than retention, unless required by law.
  • - Destruction Method: Personal information stored in electronic file format is deleted using technical methods that make the records irrecoverable. Personal information printed on paper is destroyed by shredding or incineration.
5. Provision of Personal Information

The company, in principle, does not provide users’ personal information to external parties. However, exceptions are made in the following cases:

  • - When necessary for product delivery, installation, or A/S (name, mobile phone number, installation address)
  • - When the user has given prior consent
